The first bite into their deep dish pizza was like diving into a fluffy pizza cloud. The crust was thick and buttery, perfectly balancing the weight of the toppings. But first, let’s address the downsides. Il Vicino doesn’t accept reservations. Now, normally I’d be fuming about this, especially since I am a self-proclaimed high roller food critic who expects nothing but the best treatment. But you know what? In this case, I’m willing to forgive them. Why, you ask? Because the food is just that good!

Now, let’s talk about the benefits. First of all, they serve alcohol. Need I say more? Pizza and beer are like a match made in cheese-covered heaven. And speaking of cheese-covered heaven, Il Vicino has some fantastic vegetarian options. As a carnivore myself, I never thought I’d say this, but their veggie pizza might just convert me. It’s that delicious.

And for all you herbivores out there, fear not! They’ve got some tasty vegetarian options too, so you can enjoy a slice without sacrificing your love for animals.

Now, onto the downsides. Il Vicino, why oh why don’t you accept reservations? It’s like playing a game of pizza roulette. Will I be lucky enough to snag a table? Or will I be left out in the cold, staring longingly at other people’s pizzas? It’s a stressful gamble, my friends.
