I’m not one for the traditional chain pizzas but John’s has something special about it. The crust is crispy, yet soft, and you can definitely taste the quality of the ingredients. Plus, their sauce is a nice balance of sweet and savory.
The toppings were great, too – especially the prosciutto! It melted in my mouth with every bite. They also have a really unique selection of gourmet pizzas like the Grilled Eggplant Parmigiana pizza that was to die for – I highly recommend it!
The best part, though, was the service. Everyone at John’s Boy Pizzeria was friendly and welcoming, even when I ordered 14 different pizzas for my group! They even gave us some free garlic knots which were absolutely delicious as well.

I stumbled into this amazing restaurant and decided to give it a try. When I entered, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff and an offer to sample the finest ingredients they had available.
The atmosphere was a classic Italian pizzeria with checkered table cloths, wood paneling, and even a red-checked hat on one of the waiters. The background music was an old-school New Jersey rap song from the ’90s, which instantly brought me back to my younger days.

From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a real treat. The cozy atmosphere was inviting and the smell of the wood-fire oven cooking up perfection was tantalizing.
I decided to go with their signature pizza, “The Soprano,” which is an Italian style pie topped with sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. It was cooked to perfection and every bite melted in my mouth! The sausage had an amazing flavor and the crunch of each veggie added texture to the overall experience.
The crust was just as good because it had that classic Italian taste that can only be achieved by using their unique method of dough preparation. And of course the sauce, which is always key when it comes to great pizza, didn’t disappoint either. It wasn’t too salty or too sweet but just right!
