When I got there, the place was packed with locals and visitors alike. It was obvious that this place had a strong reputation for excellent pizza. Once I placed my order, it arrived fairly quickly, piping hot and smelling like pure heaven! After taking my first bite, I knew why this place was so popular – the pizza was absolutely delicious! To begin, the restaurant’s atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, it was the perfect environment to enjoy some delicious pizza!

The pizzas here are truly something special. The crust is thin but sturdy—just thick enough to hold all of their amazing toppings without being too doughy. They top their pizzas with a variety of delicious ingredients like pepperoni, Italian sausage, roasted garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, caramelized onions, fresh basil and more. Everything was cooked perfectly — the toppings were flavorful and fresh and the cheese was gooey and melty.

Of all their options I tried, my favorite was definitely the Margherita Pizza. It had just the right balance of sauce, cheese and toppings that created a truly unique flavor experience.

The crust has a crispy outer layer with a chewy interior, and the flavor combinations used in the ingredients are fantastic!

The menu offers an array of options including classic NYC style pizzas, gourmet pies with unique toppings, and even vegan and vegetarian selections. I especially love their meat-lovers’ version which combines some succulent smoked sausage, juicy pepperoni, and generous amounts of mozzarella cheese.

Not only is their pizza delicious, but it’s also affordable. For what you get in terms of quality and quantity these days, it’s quite a bargain! My experience at Filaga was truly one for the books. From the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, to the simply divine pizza, I am forever indebted to their pizza-making skills. The pies are so fresh and savory, I had to make sure to eat enough of it so I didn’t forget how amazing it was!

Crust was crispy yet airy in all the right places, cheesy just as it should be, toppings were generous and fresh, and the sauce was loaded with flavor. Every bite felt like a little slice of heaven – something that’s difficult to find in New York City!

To top it all off, the prices were surprisingly affordable given how delicious the food was – no doubt making more people flock through their doors. I would highly recommend Filaga if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Chelsea NY!

#6 Tappo NYC Thin Crust Pizza

My first impression walking into Tappo was all focus on the pizza. It was like stepping into a veritable pizza paradise! Everywhere I looked, there were freshly-baked pizzas and tantalizing aromas that made my mouth water in anticipation.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about the ingredients and different types of pizzas. They helped me decide on an Italian sausage and pepperoni pizza with a thin crust that tasted absolutely delicious! The crust was crunchy but not too hard, and it had just the right balance of cheese, tomato sauce, and toppings.

I also sampled some starters such as breadsticks and antipasti platters which were amazing! Everything was lovingly prepared to perfection – you can really taste the passion that goes into every dish at this restaurant.

Upon entering the restaurant, the smell of delicious Italian spices filled my nose – I knew I was in for something special. The pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven, which imparts a unique smoky flavor that you can taste in every bite!

The staff at Ovest Pizzoteca are all incredibly friendly and accommodating – they even offered me some free samples so I could try out their extensive menu. I had their classic Margherita pizza, and it was absolutely divine. The combination of fresh mozzarella cheese, tangy tomato sauce, and fragrant basil was just perfect!

I also tried one of their white pizzas with creamy ricotta cheese and mushrooms – it was exquisite. To round off the evening, I got their signature dessert: tiramisu gelato. It was the perfect way to end this wonderful meal!

All in all, Ovest Pizzoteca serves up some of the best pizza in Chelsea NY. Whether you’re after a classic pie or something more inventive, they’ve got you covered. Highly recommended!

#8 Lions & Tigers & Squares Detroit Pizza

The atmosphere was truly unique – a mix of urban chic and casual elegance. The menu was bursting with an amazing selection of Detroit-style pizza offerings as well as more classic options like Margherita and Sicilian pizzas.

I opted for the “Lions & Tigers & Squares” special: a deep-dish pizza made with layers of pepperoni, sausage, peppers, onions, and cheese. I have to say that it lived up to its name – it was absolutely delicious! The crust had a flaky texture with just the right amount of crunch when bitten into. The toppings were fresh, flavorful, and generous. It was definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had!

Service was also outstanding! Our server was friendly and helpful – he made sure our experience went off without a hitch. He even recommended an awesome dessert pizza that we shared for the table; it had Nutella spread over cream cheese-soaked crust and finished off with some sliced strawberries. Yum!

Overall, Lions & Tigers & Squares Detroit Pizza is an absolute must if you’re looking for great pizza in Chelsea NY. I already can’t wait to come back here again soon because the food is simply amazing!

The atmosphere at Don Giovanni is also very inviting with a casual and relaxed setting. I had the pleasure of dining in their outdoor seating area on a warm summer day and it was wonderful!

But possibly the best part about Don Giovanni’s is their staff. Everyone is so friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed for an amazing meal.

All in all, I have to say that Don Giovanni has some of the best pizza in Chelsea NY – from the delicious flavors to the inviting atmosphere, it’s an experience that can’t be beat!

At first glance, the restaurant might look unassuming, but when you step inside, you can feel the energy of this truly unique spot. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, perfect for a night out with friends.

And let me tell you – their pizza lives up to the hype! From their classic Margherita to their more inventive toppings like truffle oil and arugula, every slice is cooked with love and care. You can really taste the difference!

The staff is also incredibly friendly and attentive. They were always there to answer any questions I had or offer suggestions on what to order. I especially appreciated how they took their time making sure my order was perfect.

Highline Pizzeria has earned its place as one of the best pizza spots in Chelsea NY – no doubt about it! My only regret is that I didn’t find it sooner.

The first thing I noticed was the delicious aroma of authentic Italian pizza. My taste buds leapt with joy at the thought of tasting a classic Italian pizza, and they were not disappointed!

The dough was cooked to perfection; it had that crispy yet soft texture that so many other pizzerias fail to get right. The perfect amount of sauce – not too sweet, but just enough for some added flavor – paired perfectly with the toppings. And don’t even get me started on the cheese – it was simply divine!

Perhaps one of my favorite things about this place is that they don’t skimp on the toppings as I’ve encountered in other places. Every last bit of pepperoni, sausage, and vegetables were accounted for in every bite and tasted just as good as they smelled while cooking in the oven.

Add in friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere, and you have yourself a recipe for success – or should I say pizza success? All jokes aside, Ciao Bella is truly one of the best pizza places in Chelsea NY.
