I particularly enjoyed the pepperoni and mushroom pizza, which featured a crispy thin crust that was just the right amount of chewy. The marinara sauce was flavorful and combined with the freshly grated cheese to make an amazing combination.

This place not only offers amazing pizza but is also a great tourist spot. Although they don’t offer delivery, the extra effort it takes to get to Pie Sci Pizza is more than worth it.

One of my favorite things about Pie Sci Pizza is their vegetarian options. As someone who follows a plant-based diet half the time, it’s nice to have more than one choice. I’ve tried each and every one of their veggie pizzas and they’re all delicious!

My first thought upon entering was how cozy and inviting the atmosphere was. The restaurant smelled like the most delicious combination of spices, dough, and tomato sauce. I knew instantly that I was in for a treat!

I ordered a classic pepperoni pizza with extra cheese, and it was phenomenal. The crust was crunchy yet soft at the same time, and they put just enough cheese to keep it light but still flavorful. The pepperoni added great flavor without being too greasy or salty. When I took my first bite, I immediately knew this pizza would be a winner!

I tried several other dishes during my visit as well, including their lasagna and garlic knots. Both were excellent –the lasagna had rich flavors from all the different ingredients used, while the garlic knots were just the right amount of cheesy.

The restaurant itself is nothing to write home about. It’s small, a bit cramped and located in a questionable part of town. But what it lacks in atmosphere, Shorty Bell’s more than makes up for in their delicious thin crust pies.

The pepperoni pizza was outstanding! The cheese melted into the crust which was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crunch. The sweet tomato sauce had hints of oregano and basil goodness. And the generous toppings of savory pepperoni made for a truly heavenly combination of flavors.

I’m sure I’ll be returning to Shorty Bell’s sooner than later when my stomach starts growling for the best pizza in Detroit MI!
