Now, let me start by saying that I take my pizzas very seriously. I’ve had all kinds, from the thin and crispy New York slices to the delicate and cheesy Neapolitan pies, but deep dish is a whole different beast. And let me tell you, Damgoode Pies has mastered it!

When I first walked into this place, I was greeted by the sight and smell of pizza heaven. The aroma of freshly baked dough and bubbling cheese filled the air, and I knew I was in for a treat. The decor was quirky and fun, with pizza-themed artwork adorning the walls and even a giant slice of pizza hanging from the ceiling. These folks sure knew how to set the stage for a good meal!

Imagine my delight when I discovered that this joint not only serves alcohol (a requirement for any self-respecting pizza lover), but also has some decent vegetarian options. And you know what they say, pizza without veggies is like a circus without clowns — it just ain’t right!

But wait, there’s more! American Pie Pizza also offers desserts. And boy, oh boy, their apple pie pizza is like a slice of heaven on earth. It’s like they took a classic dessert and said, Hey, let’s make it even better by putting it on a pizza! I mean, who needs a diet when you can have dessert pizza?

And let’s not forget, this place is a hotspot for tourists. It’s one of those rare establishments where you can stuff your face with phenomenal pizza while taking in the sights. It’s like a cultural experience, but with extra cheese.

Now, here’s the bummer. This place doesn’t accept reservations. So, if you’re like me and need to plan your meals with military precision, you might have to risk waiting for a table. But trust me, the wait is worth it. Plus, you can always use that time to practice your pizza-eating skills. It’s a win-win situation!
