The amount of pizza places I’ve tried in my travels around the world number in the dozens, and yet I found 11 good spots here in Manhattan. It was quite a challenge to narrow it down to just the best ones.

I’m usually one for finding a nice slice wherever I go, but my taste buds were really happy looking for the Best Pizza in Manhattan NY. And what a journey it has been!

#1 Carnegie Pizza

I recently visited Carnegie Pizza and I must say that it was an awesome experience! The atmosphere of the restaurant gave me a sense of familiarity and nostalgia, as if I was back visiting my favorite pizzeria in my hometown.

The pizza itself was something special. The crust had a nice crunch to it and was full of flavor. The sauce was flavorful, with just the right amount of acidity and sweetness. The cheese melted perfectly over the thin slices of pepperoni that were laid out over the top – simply mouthwatering!

The staff at Carnegie Pizza are friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming; they made sure to provide me with great service throughout my visit. Plus, they offer delivery options which I think is great for those who don’t have the time to sit down in the restaurant to enjoy their meal.

Overall, I definitely recommend Carnegie Pizza for all pizza lovers out there looking for some quality pies in Manhattan NY! It’s definitely worth checking out if you consider yourself a true pizza connoisseur – you won’t be disappointed!

#2 NY Pizza Suprema

The first thing that caught my eye was the decor. It’s a classic New York pizzeria, with brick walls, red and white checkered tablecloths, and a wood-fired oven in the corner. Everything about it screams NYC pizza perfection.

As for the pizza itself — wow! I’ve never tasted such perfectly cooked dough before; it was crispy yet tender at the same time. The toppings were top notch too, with just the right amount of cheese and freshly cut vegetables on every slice.

I also had their garlic knots – which are to die for- and their meatball sub. Both were incredibly flavorful and definitely some of my favorites from this restaurant.

In conclusion, I can confidently say that NY Pizza Suprema has some of the best pizza in Manhattan NY! If you’re ever looking for an authentic NYC pizza experience, this is where you need to go.

#3 Rubirosa

The moment I stepped in the door, I knew I was in for something special. From the rich wood paneling and old-world touches to the inviting aroma of delicious pizza, Rubirosa had it all!

The menu selection is truly unique, with interesting twists on classic pizzas from around the world. My favorite has to be their signature “Rucola” pizza with crumbled sweet Italian sausage, garlic-roasted mushrooms, and crispy prosciutto. And don’t get me started on their homemade mozzarella cheese! It will blow your mind!

Of course, as a traveling food critic, I also have to mention the service. Everyone at Rubirosa was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The wait staff were knowledgeable about each item on show menu and provided helpful suggestions throughout my meal.

Overall, Rubirosa is an absolute must-visit if you’re looking for great pizza in Manhattan NY. With its delectable pizzas and top-notch service, it’s no wonder why Rubirosa is considered one of the best pizzerias in town!

#4 John’s of Bleecker Street

When I first walked in, the smell of fresh-baked pizza filled the air. The interior was a little cramped for my taste, but it had an old-school charm that made me feel at home.

The menu was simple yet vast. There were some traditional Italian slices as well as Americanized pies with thick crust and hearty toppings. One of my favorite was the signature John’s Pizza with Pepperoni, Sausage and Mushrooms. The balance between savory flavors of meat and vegetables were spot on!

The waitstaff were friendly and attentive – they knew what topping combinations worked best together and offered some great pairing ideas for drinks.

To top off my meal, I had a slice of Mama’s homemade Sicilian pie with fresh Mozzarella cheese and sweet basil pesto. It may have been one of the best things I’ve ever tasted!

Overall, John’s of Bleecker Street is definitely worth a visit – even if you’re not from Manhattan NY – for one of the best pizzas around!

#5 Kesté Pizza & Vino

The atmosphere was super cozy and welcoming, with a great decor and a warm ambiance. As I was enjoying my experience, I decided to order the pizza of course! Wow, what a fantastic choice that was! The dough was thin and airy, with just the right amount of oil infused into ever bite. Toppings were generous, flavorful and cooked to perfection.

On top of all that deliciousness, the service was even better than I could have imagined. They were very friendly and accommodating – ready to answer any questions about their pizza or the ingredients they had on hand.

I would highly recommend Kesté Pizza & Vino to anyone seeking out some of the best pizza in Manhattan NY! If you’re in the area, there’s no better place for a night out with friends or family. Five stars from me!

#6 Joe’s Pizza

The pizza is cooked to perfection, with the crust lightly charred and chewy. The cheese and toppings are always fresh and flavorful. I’ve had just about everything on the menu, so you can’t go wrong no matter what you order.

What really sets Joe’s Pizza apart, though, is the atmosphere. It’s always bustling with people; it’s definitely a place to be seen! On my last visit I saw celebrities, professional athletes and city officials all enjoying their pizzas – but then again, who wouldn’t?

The staff at Joe’s are always friendly and willing to help you customize your order if needed. And if you’re in a rush they’ll even microwave some slices for you- though nothing beats their freshly made pies!

All in all, Joe’s Pizza has been the highlight of my journey around the world for pizza. With their top-notch pies and lively vibe, it truly deserves its spot among Manhattan’s best pizza joints!

#7 Scarr’s Pizza

The restaurant itself is a cozy little place with white walls and exposed brick that give it an old-school Italian vibe. The menu offers a range of savory, unique pies, topped with fresh ingredients from local farmers’ markets. But let’s not forget the pizza – everything from classic New York style slices to gourmet creations like BBQ chicken and pesto white pies.

The service is friendly and efficient, so you don’t have to worry about waiting a long time for your food. And what about the pizza? Simply put, it’s amazing! The crust is perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sauce is flavorful but not overwhelming, allowing the other toppings to shine through. Each slice was cooked just right – not burnt or overcooked – so every bite was perfect!

Overall, I highly recommend Scarr’s Pizza as one of the best places to get pizza in Manhattan NY. From its inviting atmosphere to its delicious pizzas and attentive service, this spot definitely deserves five stars!

#8 99 Cent Fresh Pizza

The atmosphere of the place is great – as soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by the smell of freshly baked dough that just makes your mouth water. The staff is friendly and helpful, and always willing to answer your questions about what goes into each pie.

As for the pies themselves, they’ve really perfected their recipes! All of my favorites were available, from the classic margherita to a savory pepperoni. The pizzas are cooked perfectly, with a crunchy crust and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. I’m definitely coming back here next time I’m in town.

Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately enamored by the beautiful brick oven and the wonderful aroma of freshly baked pizza. The energetic atmosphere and friendly staff had me feeling at ease as I settled in to try some of the best slices around.

The pizza itself was like a work of art, cooked perfectly with just enough extra crunchy cheese on top. The dough was soft, light, and flavorful – the exact kind you’d expect from the best pizza-makers in town! The sauce was also incredibly rich and flavorful, giving it an overall delicious taste.

But what really sealed the deal for me were their unique topping combinations. They offer everything from roasted garlic mushrooms to salty anchovies – all made with fresh ingredients that guaranteed nothing but sheer bliss in every bite.

After visiting Prince Street Pizza, I can confidently say that they serve up some of the best pizza in Manhattan NY – hands down! Whether you’re in town for business or pleasure, Prince Street Pizza should definitely be your first stop if you’re looking for an amazing slice of Italian heaven.

#10 Patsy’s Pizzeria

When I walked in, I knew right away that Patsy had been making pizza for a long time; the aromas of garlic and spices filled the air like a wave and made my mouth water. I decided to go with their classic Margherita pizza – it was just what I needed after a long day of travel.

The hand-tossed crust was crispy on the outside but still soft on the inside, with a thick layer of tomato sauce and melted mozzarella cheese that sent my taste buds into overdrive! Topped off with generous fresh basil leaves, this was truly a work of art.

I must admit that the waitstaff at Patsy’s Pizzeria were also quite awesome. They were enthusiastic and friendly, making sure every customer had an enjoyable experience. Even though it was busy when I went in, all of my questions about the menu items were answered quickly and cheerfully.

#11 Capizzi

The first thing that caught my eye was the aroma of freshly-made dough emanating from the kitchen. Then, when I finally sampled a slice, I knew I had stumbled upon something special. The crust was perfectly thin and extremely crispy – just like a true Italian pizza should be. Topped with some of the freshest ingredients (it almost seemed like they were grown in their own backyard!), it had an unbeatable flavor combination.

The atmosphere was nice too! The place had a cozy vibe to it – like you could stay and just eat pizza for hours. They have plenty of great beers and wines to pair with your meal if you so choose. All of this made for an incredibly enjoyable dining experience overall.
