The restaurant is small and cozy, with a pleasant atmosphere and good music playing in the background. The staff were all incredibly polite and helpful; they even worked hard to make sure my pizza was made just the way I wanted.

My pizza arrived hot and fresh from the oven, with a delicious crust, flavorful cheese, and fresh toppings that really made it stand out. The pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had – so much flavor, it was amazing!

What’s even better is the selection of creative toppings they have available – they have something for everyone! Whether you’re looking for something classic like pepperoni or something unique like chorizo, they have it all.

If you’re looking for a great pizza experience in Pacific Beach, look no further than Pizza Guys! It’s worth every penny. Trust me when I say this is some of the best pizza around!

#2 Square Pizza Co

The first thing I noticed when I walked in Square Pizza Co was the delicious smell of freshly baked dough and cooked cheese – it immediately made my mouth water. I ordered the classic pizza with red sauce and pepperoni, and it didn’t disappoint! The dough was perfectly chewy, with just enough crunch around the edges. And the toppings were fresh, flavorful, and generous.

The service was also great. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive – they knew their stuff! Plus they had an impressive selection of craft beers to go along with my slice (or should I say slices?).

#3 Powerhaus Wholesome Pizza & Eats

When I walked into the restaurant, I was hit with a pleasant aroma of fresh ingredients and spices. Their menu boasted an expansive selection of creative pizzas with unique topping combinations that were clearly made with care.

I decided to sample their signature pie, the Powerhaus Wholesome pizza, which featured a refreshing blend of mozzarella cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms and arugula. The crust was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crispiness on the outside and wonderfully fluffy in the center.

The flavor profile was amazing! Every bite brought an explosion of flavor that complemented each other perfectly. And best of all, their use of simple, wholesome ingredients meant I didn’t have to worry about what exactly went into my pizza. It’s almost like eating a gourmet meal without any guilt!

Overall, I can confidently say that Powerhaus Wholesome Pizza & Eats is definitely one of the best pizzerias in Pacific Beach – if not in all of San Diego! If you’re ever in the area looking for great pizza, do yourself a favor and stop by this gem. You won’t be disappointed!

The restaurant itself is great – it’s got a cozy, neighborhood feel that I absolutely adore. The service staff is super friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I have the perfect experience.

But of course, the main attraction here is the pizza. Upon my first bite of their signature dish, I knew Sauced Pizzeria had something special going on. The crust was cooked to perfection and it was so flavorful that I could barely contain my enthusiasm. The toppings were also top-notch; they chose only the freshest ingredients and combined them in an expertly crafted recipe to create a unique flavor profile that can’t be found anywhere else in Pacific Beach.

#5 Oltre Mare

I recently visited this delicious Italian eatery on a quest for the best pizza in the area. From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I knew it was going to be good. The atmosphere was cozy, with handmade ceramic plates adorning the walls and a wood-burning pizza oven in the corner of the room.

The menu at Oltre Mare is filled with classic Italian dishes like lasagna, ravioli, and bruschetta. But I came here for one reason; to try their famous pizza! And let me tell you: it did not disappoint!

The crust is perfectly crispy with just enough chewiness so that it doesn’t overwhelm the toppings or break apart in your hands. The sauce is thick yet light and flavorful. They use only fresh ingredients – nothing canned or pre-made here – to top off each slice. My personal favorite has got to be the Capricciosa; an exquisite combination of tomatoes, mushrooms, artichokes, olives, and mozzarella cheese.

But what really sets Oltre Mare apart from any other pizzeria I’ve tried around the world is their unparalleled hospitality and commitment to quality. The staff at this restaurant genuinely wants you to have an enjoyable experience and take great pride in serving up some of the best pizza in Pacific Beach. #6 Ambrogio15 Pacific Beach

My first stop on my trip was Ambrogio15, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere at the restaurant was cozy and inviting, and the service staff was incredibly friendly.

The pizza itself was heavenly! I opted for the Margherita pizza and it really hit the spot. The crust had just the right amount of chewiness, while still being light and crispy. The sauce was rich yet subtle, blending beautifully with the cheese. All in all, I’d say this is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted!

And as an added bonus, they have a fantastic selection of craft beers to pair with your meal. From IPAs to sours, there’s something for everyone’s taste buds!

When I arrived at the restaurant, I was immediately greeted by a smiling staff member who was excited to show me what they had to offer. As he handed me a menu, I felt like a kid in a candy store! All of the pizzas sounded delicious and it was hard to decide which one to try.

I ended up settling on their signature pizza, The Seaside Special. It came loaded with pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers and onions. The flavor explosion that hit my taste buds was out of this world! The crust was perfectly cooked and not too crunchy or chewy. The toppings were cooked just right and complimented each other well.

But don’t just take my word for it- everyone else that has eaten here seems to love it as well! From the positive Yelp reviews to all the locals enjoying their lunch breaks in the restaurant – it’s an obvious favorite in Pacific Beach.

So if you’re looking for some of the best pizza around, look no further than Seaside Pizza Co!

#8 SD TapRoom

When I first arrived, the atmosphere was instantly inviting – from the exposed brick walls to the warm wood tables. Plus the outdoor patio was perfect for enjoying a summer evening.

The menu boasted of a broad selection of Neapolitan-style pizzas with creative flavors that would be hard to find elsewhere in San Diego. The Margherita pizza was particularly amazing – a combination of mozzarella, tomatoes, and fresh basil on a delicious thin crust that tasted like it had been airlifted straight from Naples!

The atmosphere at SD TapRoom is also great for groups or dates. The craft beers were well-paired with the pizza, and they offer small plates and appetizers if you’re not in the mood for an entire pizza. And you can’t beat the prices!

Overall, I’d give SD TapRoom five stars out of five for its tasty pies, reasonable prices, and cozy ambience – truly one of the best pizzerias in Pacific Beach for anyone who’s looking for a great meal!

#9 Pizza Port Ocean Beach

The atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxed and unwinding. You can tell the staff here is passionate about pizza making and it shows with their delicious pies.

I started my meal with the classic Margherita, which didn’t disappoint! The crust was light and fluffy with just the right level of crunch. On top, the cheese was freshly grated and melted perfectly over the sauce – you couldn’t ask for a better combination.

I then moved on to their White Clam Pie Surprise – wow! I’m not sure why they keep this as a special off-menu item because it’s one of their best creations. The clams were fresh and gave a nice briny flavor to the pie that was accentuated by the olives and garlic sprinkled on top.

Finally, I had to sample their signature Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Pizza – yum! The crust was crispy on the outside but still fluffy in the center, loaded with smoky pieces of chicken, sweet pineapple bits, caramelized onions and their signature BBQ sauce drizzle. It takes quite an expert touch to balance these flavors together but they have certainly mastered it!

Overall, I’d give Pizza Port Ocean Beach five stars for having some of the best pizza in Pacific Beach. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

#10 Woodstock’s Pizza Pacific Beach

The atmosphere at this restaurant is fun and relaxed. It’s a great place to hang out with friends while enjoying delicious pizza. The staff were welcoming and friendly, always willing to chat about the specials or give recommendations.

The pizza selection was impressive, with several unique traditional and specialty options so there’s something for everyone. I had the veggie pie and it was truly outstanding – crisp crust, flavorful sauce, and generous portions of cheese and vegetables. It was like pizza-making perfection!

I can’t say enough good things about Woodstock’s Pizza Pacific Beach. From the family-friendly atmosphere to the incredible pies, this restaurant really knows how to do pizza right. I’d definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a great slice of pie!

#11 Hoboken Pizza & Beer Joint

The first thing I noticed when I walked into Hoboken Pizza & Beer Joint was the ambiance. It has a fun, New York pizzeria feel to it, complete with vibrant colors, walls full of memorabilia from the city, and great music that had me wanting to take out my dancing shoes!

The pizza here is simply delicious. They have a huge variety of options, from classic New York-style pies to specialty items like their Chinese BBQ Chicken and Korean Kimchi pies. No matter what kind of taste you are looking for in your pizza, Hoboken has something to please everyone’s palate. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, just how I like it. The toppings were all fresh and flavorful; they definitely took the time to make sure each pie was perfection!

What really impressed me about Hoboken Pizza & Beer Joint was their beer selection; they had more than enough craft beers on tap! Not only that but the bartenders were knowledgeable about their brews so that made trying them even more enjoyable.

Overall, Hoboken Pizza & Beer Joint is one of the best places in Pacific Beach for pizza and beer lovers alike! If you’re ever in the area and craving some seriously good pizza or some tasty craft beers, head over to this joint and get ready for a culinary experience you won’t soon forget!
