Over the years, I’ve tasted pizza from all over the world. I thought it was about time to try the pies from this great little city. After doing some research, I selected 11 pizza places that were worth trying out.

As for what to expect, humor and lightheartedness are definitely part of my assessment process. And, of course, there’s no better way than to determine which is best by tasting each one and rating them against each other. The ultimate challenge? Finding out which one can truly be crowned as the “Best Pizza in Sandy Springs”. Let’s do this!

#1 Sunnyside Pizzeria

What sets this place apart from other pizza restaurants is the incredibly fresh ingredients that they use to make their pizzas. Their pizzas are made with the freshest vegetables, cheeses, and meats that are always perfectly cooked for a flavorful taste.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is also another reason why I love coming here. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes me feel like I’m part of a family whenever I come in. Plus, the decor of the restaurant has a really homey feel to it, making it an even more enjoyable experience.

Overall, Sunnyside Pizzeria has earned my stamp of approval and it undoubtedly deserves its title as having some of the best pizza in Sandy Springs!

#2 MOD Pizza

The atmosphere is inviting, with vibrant colors and plenty of seating. The staff is friendly and efficient, always eager to help. But you’re here for the pizza, and MOD Pizza has plenty of great choices.

The menu is simple but effective: choose your size, pick a sauce, and toss on some toppings. Everything comes together perfectly in the oven to give you an unforgettable experience. Whether you prefer a classic Margherita or something more inventive – like their ‘Spicy Salami’ – there’s something for everyone!

I truly believe that MOD Pizza makes some of the best pizza in Sandy Springs. If you’re looking for a unique slice of heaven, then this is the place for you!

#3 Avellino’s Wood Fire Pizzeria Brookhaven

The atmosphere is delightful, with a cozy dining room that’s perfect for date nights or family dinners. The service was also great; all of my questions were answered and I didn’t have to wait too long for my order.

Speaking of the food, this is where Avellino’s really shines! Everything is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and cooked in their wood-fired pizza oven to perfection. They also have a wonderful selection of vegetarian options, so everyone can find something they enjoy. And topping it all off are the delicious desserts – from classic Italian gelato to decadent Nutella calzones!

But one downside is that they don’t offer delivery. So if you’re looking for hot, fresh pizza delivered right to your doorstep, you may want to choose another restaurant.

Overall though, Avellino’s Wood Fire Pizzeria Brookhaven is an excellent place for some truly delicious pizza – the best in Sandy Springs!

#4 Hearth Pizza Tavern

The restaurant has an intimate and cozy atmosphere, which is perfect for a casual meal with family and friends. The pizzas are all made with fresh ingredients and the wood-fired oven gives them an exquisite smoky flavor. You can also customize your own pie by mixing up the toppings so that it`s just to your liking.

I sampled a few different pies during my last visit and they were all positively delicious! My favorite was the Margherita Pizza; it had just the right amount of cheese, tomato sauce, basil, and olive oil. It tasted even better when accompanied by their house special – garlic knots!

The staff was friendly and helpful too; they offered helpful advice about what sauces to pair with each dish. On top of that, I found the prices to be very reasonable for such tasty food.

If you’re ever looking for an unbeatable pizza experience in Sandy Springs, Hearth Pizza Tavern is where it’s at. I highly recommend trying this place out; you won’t regret it! Best pizza in Sandy Springs? That’s a title well deserved!

#5 DaVinci’s Pizzeria- Sandy Springs

First of all, the atmosphere is second to none. The restaurant looks like it was plucked out of a renaissance painting – old-world decor and romantic candlelight make it cozy and inviting.

But most importantly, the pizza was delicious. I had their signature “DaVinci Pie”, and it more than lived up to its name. The crust was perfectly thin and crunchy, the cheese was deliciously gooey, and the toppings were flavorful and fresh – everything you want from a pizza!

If you’re looking for an enjoyable evening with some of the best pizza in Sandy Springs, DaVinci’s Pizzeria-Sandy Springs is definitely worth checking out!

#6 Fellini’s Pizza

To start, their crust is the perfect balance of crunchy and doughy. It’s cooked perfectly every time, even when I’ve ordered it late at night. I’ve tried a variety of toppings—from traditional pepperoni to more creative options like pineapple and jalapenos—and they have always been fresh and delicious.

The service is outstanding. Every employee that I’ve interacted with has been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu items. They also do an excellent job of making sure that orders are accurate and delivered quickly when you order for delivery. The restaurant itself is also very clean, inviting, and comfortable; a nice choice for dine-in customers.

I can honestly say that Fellini’s Pizza is one of the best pizzerias in Sandy Springs. If you’re looking for the best pizza in town, you can’t go wrong with Fellini’s!

#7 Blue Moon Pizza Sandy Springs

The atmosphere there is great – they’ve decorated the restaurant with a homey, Italian-style that’s very inviting. The wait staff is friendly and helpful as well, which makes for a great overall experience.

But most importantly, the pizza itself is delicious! Though their menu has something for everyone, my personal favorite was the signature Blue Moon Pizza. It’s a combination of mildly spiced tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, fresh basil and mushrooms. Every bite was melt-in-your-mouth perfection!

If you’re ever in Sandy Springs looking for amazing pizza, I highly recommend Blue Moon Pizza. They have quickly become my go-to spot whenever I’m in town – it’s definitely the best pizza in Sandy Springs!

#8 G’s Pizza by il Giallo – Sandy Springs

My first time at il Giallo was a truly memorable experience. The service was friendly and the atmosphere cozy and inviting. The menu was full of all sorts of delicious Italian dishes, but I knew that I had to order their signature pizza – the G’s Pizza.

And wow – what a pizza! The dough was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crispiness, while still being incredibly light and airy. Topped with generous amounts of fresh mozzarella cheese, savory Italian sausage crumbles, and sweet peppers, it was truly an explosion of flavors in my mouth.

The best part is that this amazing pizza doesn’t come at a high price – it’s reasonably priced for the quality you get! All in all, G’s Pizza by il Giallo is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for the best pizza in Sandy Springs.

#9 Mellow Mushroom Sandy Springs

I stopped by this restaurant not knowing what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere inside was cozy yet fun, making it a great place to kick back after a long day of work or sightseeing.

The pizza itself was outstanding! Every bite had just the right amount of cheese and sauce, plus an array of fresh toppings. I tried the classic pepperoni, but that’s just one of many options available here. If you’re feeling adventurous, I recommend trying their signature Cosmic Karma: it is out of this world!

My only complaint is that the wait staff can be a bit clueless at times. Nevertheless, they are always friendly and accommodating.

All in all, Mellow Mushroom Sandy Springs serves up some of the best pizza in Sandy Springs. Whether you’re looking for a tasty meal or just a relaxing evening out with friends, this place has something for everyone!

#10 Napoli New York Pizza Italian Kitchen & Catering

From the moment I stepped in, I knew this place was special. The inviting atmosphere, combined with the delicious smells wafting from the kitchen, made me excited to dig in.

The pizza was cooked to perfection! The crust was light and crunchy and had great flavor. The sauce was just the right amount of tangy, and the cheese was extremely creamy and flavorful.

The toppings were spot on as well – they added texture and extra flavor to each bite without overwhelming it. And my favorite part? They don’t skimp on cheese! I’m a firm believer that if you’re going to have pizza, you should really go all out with cheese. Napoli did not disappoint in this department!

To top off an already amazing experience, Napoli’s customer service was top-notch. Everyone there clearly takes great pride in what they do, which is evident in every dish they serve.

#11 Porter Pizza Brewery

From the moment I walked in, it felt like a classic Italian pizzeria. From the warm, inviting ambiance to the mouthwatering aromas of baked pizza emanating from the kitchen, I was in heaven.

The menu offers an impressive selection of pizzas and slices. Pizzas range from traditional margheritas and pepperonis to more adventurous options like truffle and porchetta-stuffed crusts. Each order is made with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection on a thick, fluffy crust that can be customized to your taste.

But the real star of Porter Pizza Brewery is their selection of craft beers! They offer an ever-changing list of small-batch brews that complement their delicious pizza perfectly. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about beer and pizza pairings, so you’ll never eat bad food with a bad beer again!

My experience at Porter Pizza Brewery was top-notch from start to finish. Every bite was bursting with flavor and left me wanting more – they definitely have some of the best pizza in Sandy Springs!
