My journey to find the perfect pizza began a few hours ago, as I made my way to Southie. I knew right away that this place was something special as soon as I walked in the door. The decor is absolutely stunning and inviting, and it’s clear that they’ve invested a lot of thought and money into making the restaurant look great.
But what really sets Pastoral apart is their delicious pizza. With an impressive selection of toppings and homemade sauces, there’s something for everyone here. I got a classic pepperoni pie with extra cheese, and man was it flavorful! The crust was perfectly cooked, not too thick or thin, just the way I like it. I had the pleasure of tasting a few different pies, and my favorite was the classic Margherita. The mozzarella was creamy and flavorful, and the sauce was fragrant and delicious. Even better, the crust—oh, that crust!—was perfectly thin and crispy. Every bite melted in my mouth! It’s been a while since I’ve had pizza this good.
The staff at Alfredo’s knows how to make a great pie. They don’t skimp on ingredients, either; every slice is loaded with fresh toppings. Every bite tastes like it just came out of their wood-fired oven.
For those who prefer something with more spice or heat, I recommend the spicy sausage pizza. Not only does it pack a punch on its own, but it also pairs well with Alfredo’s homemade garlic bread with cheesy dipping sauce. Delicious!
