I am a tough food critic and I can be a tough judge, but the pizza at APIZZA Little Italy blew me away. From the smell of the freshly baked dough to the perfectly executed toppings – everything was just amazing.
The crust is especially impressive – it’s thin and crispy but still chewy enough to be enjoyable. The cheese was gooey and melty and had that irresistible, buttery flavor. As for toppings, there are so many options to choose from, it’s hard to pick just one! The flavors all blend together in perfect harmony and the portions are generous.

My first pizza was their classic Margherita; the tomatoes were juicy and flavorful, the cheese was melted to perfection and the crust was light and crispy. It reminded me of the pizzas I tried in Naples; definitely worth the trip!
The next pizza I tried was the Alla Toscano, which had gorgonzola cheese, mushrooms, and roasted red peppers. The contrast between the mild sweet peppers and pungent gorgonzola cheese made for a delicious flavor combination that was not at all overpowering – just enough for me to keep coming back for more.
I also tried one of their specialties – their Artichoke & Prosciutto Pie. This pie had so many flavors coming together harmoniously: artichokes, prosciutto, mozzarella, cream sauce – it was incredible!

The presentation of their pizzas was also quite impressive— they are almost too pretty to eat. With wide variety of different topping options, there’s something for everyone!

#7 Half Pint Pizza Pub
- Serves alcohol (and hard liquor!)
- Great place to watch sports
The first thing I noticed when I walked into this cozy pub was the amazing smell coming from the stone oven pizzas. After ordering a classic pepperoni pie, it quickly arrived – hot and bubbling with deliciousness. The crust was thin and perfectly crispy, while the sauce had just the right balance of sweetness and acidity. The pepperoni added just the right amount of salty flavor to complete the perfect bite.
I also sampled some of their specialty pizzas, including a Margherita topped with fresh basil and juicy tomatoes; a Greek-style pizza with feta cheese and black olives; and my personal favorite, a Philly cheesesteak pizza made with real steak pieces in a signature white sauce. Each of these pies was mouthwatering, but I ultimately decided on my original pepperoni pizza as the best of the bunch.
So if you’re looking for delicious pizza in Tacoma WA, look no further than Half Pint Pizza Pub! Their pies are simply unbeatable!

What really blew me away though was their Italian-style spinach pizza! It had a hint of garlic and lemon that took this pie to a new level! A real winner here!
