I’ve been around the world looking for the best pizza and I’m excited to say that Anchorage is a great place to find one. After doing some hard research, I’ve narrowed down the top 11 pizzerias in the city, and I’m ready to report on my findings! Get ready for a hilariously lighthearted review of all of them.

The atmosphere at Moose’s Tooth is incredible. Not only can you enjoy delicious pizza, but you can also get drinks from the bar with beer and hard liquor! For families with kids, they even have a kid’s menu with some smaller bites.

One of the great things about Moose’s Tooth is that they offer some vegetarian options as well. I was able to try the veggie pizza and it was surprisingly tasty! And if you’re looking for a sweet treat afterwards, the desserts are insanely good – my favorite was definitely the s’mores pizza.

Now, as great as Moose’s Tooth Pub & Pizzeria is, there is one downside: they don’t offer delivery service. So if you want to enjoy their amazing pizza, you’ll need to come in and pick it up yourself. Despite this minor inconvenience, it’s definitely worth going out of your way to get an order from Moose’s Tooth – trust me, it’s the best pizza in Anchorage!

From the moment I stepped into Saverio’s, I was impressed. The ambience was warm and inviting, and the staff were completely passionate about their pizza craft.

The menu items were all presented in a fun and creative way, with a great selection of specialty pizzas to choose from. I opted for their margherita pizza – it was rustic, flavorful and bursting with fresh ingredients. The crust had just the right balance of chewiness and crunch. Delicious!

And that’s not all – they make some of the most amazing appetizers too! The garlic knots were light, fluffy and perfectly seasoned – definitely one of my favorites! I also sampled their bruschetta which was full of flavor and incredibly satisfying.

The restaurant is small, but the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The staff was friendly and accommodating; I was seated quickly, despite the crowd that had gathered.

The menu features a large array of delicious options, from more traditional pizzas like pepperoni to creative flavors like barbeque chicken and jalapeno-pineapple. I chose the latter – a wonderfully unexpected combination that tasted fantastic. The toppings were fresh, vibrant and flavourful – just what you’d expect from a top-notch pizza joint.

The crust was thin and crispy. It was cooked to perfection – not too doughy, not too crunchy. Just the right mix of texture and flavor.

Overall, you can’t go wrong with Hearth Artisan Pizza! Whether you’re looking for traditional Italian favorites or something new, this spot has it all. Definitely the best pizza in Anchorage!

I first noticed Luigi’s when I was walking down the street and could smell the delicious aroma of freshly baked pizza coming from within. As soon as I stepped inside I knew this wasn’t your average pizzeria: everything had a homey feel and the atmosphere was inviting.

The menu is full of variety, with thin-crust and thick-crust options, plus a wide selection of toppings to choose from. But what really sets Luigi’s Pizza apart from other restaurants is their homemade sauces and dough. These are made with only the freshest ingredients, ensuring that every bite is as flavorful as possible.

It wasn’t until I sampled a slice though that I knew for sure: Luigi’s pizza is some of the best in all of Anchorage! The crust was perfectly cooked – crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside – and loaded with flavor. The toppings were fresh and generous, and each cheese had an excellent blend of flavor notes.

I highly recommend Luigi’s Pizza if you’re looking for an amazing pizza experience – they have no doubt earned their spot as “the best pizza in Anchorage”!

As soon as I stepped into the restaurant I was struck by the mouth-watering smell of fresh pizza – very rare for a restaurant not located next to a bakery! The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made me feel right at home. The interior décor was simple yet stylish, complimented by hand-painted murals on each wall!

When it came time to try the food, I wasn’t disappointed in the least. The crust was perfectly thin with just enough crispiness without being overly crunchy. The tomato sauce was flavorful and not too sweet or acidic, while the cheese was melted just right. The toppings were fresh and flavorful – every bite had something new to discover!

The first thing I noticed when walking in the door was how inviting everything was. The staff were friendly, and the aromas of fresh, delicious pizza filled the air.

I decided to order their signature dish – a large, New York-style pizza topped with pepperoni and mushrooms. After only a few minutes in the oven, it came out hot and ready for consumption!

The restaurant itself was cozy and welcoming, with a stone oven that you could smell from the street. From the moment I walked in, it felt like home—I could tell that this place had some serious pizza-making chops.

I ordered their signature dish: a classic pepperoni pizza. The delicious aroma emanating from the kitchen only added to my anticipation. If Sorrento’s was half as good as it smelled, I knew I was in for a treat.

Let me tell you, those suspicions were confirmed! The pizza was cooked to perfection—the sauce was seasoned just right, the cheese melted perfectly, and the toppings were of generous portions. Each slice practically melted in my mouth!

The best part? The crust! It was light and fluffy with a hint of garlic and herb seasoning on top. It also had an unmistakable crunch that made every single bite so satisfying.

The atmosphere here is aptly described as a hole-in-the-wall, but the pizza is so good that it almost doesn’t matter. On my first visit I tried the Hawaiian pizza and was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful combination of pineapple and ham atop a wonderfully crispy crust.

The Italian Sausage pizza was also a hit with its tasty tomato sauce, robust Italian sausage, and plenty of cheese. My third favorite was their Margherita pizza; they didn’t skimp on the basil or tomatoes which really made this classic pop. In fact, if you close your eyes while eating it you could almost be in Italy!

But perhaps the best thing about Lalo’s Pizza Take Out is their pricing. It’s incredibly affordable for such great quality pie.

From the moment you enter Capone’s, you can tell they take their pizza seriously. The decor is definitely a homage to its namesake, and the aroma of fresh dough, herbs and cheese has your mouth watering before you even order.

The pies themselves are nothing short of spectacular. Their signature sauce is the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, and their crusts are light and fragrant. Topped with high-quality mozzarella cheese and a variety of fresh toppings, I’ve never had a better pizza!

Their prices are also incredibly reasonable for the quality of food you get. You can create your own custom pizzas from their wide selection of toppings, or choose one of their specialty pizzas for less than $20. They also offer a selection of traditional sides like garlic knots and salads that were delicious.
