I’m not afraid to admit I have a healthy obsession with pizza. Throughout my travels, I’ve never been disappointed by the slices in Bay Ridge Brooklyn.

Recently, I had the chance to visit 11 different pizza places in the area. I sampled as many slices as my stomach could handle and used these experiences to come up with a list of the best pizza options in Bay Ridge Brooklyn.

#1 Lombardo’s

I arrived at Lombardo’s, not even knowing what to expect and was met by a warm and friendly staff. I felt right at home! The atmosphere of the restaurant completely won me over.

When it came time for pizza, I was astonished! The thin crust and bubbly cheese with the sweet yet savory tomato sauce made for a heavenly combination. They had the freshest ingredients – from roasted red peppers to prosciutto – that truly complemented each other in flavor. It was like eating a piece of edible art.

The service at Lombardo’s was superb! My server was quick, efficient, and eager to make sure that we were happy with our dining experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an amazing pizza experience in Bay Ridge – no doubt about it!

#2 Mancini’s

The first thing that caught my eye about Mancini’s was the interior. It has a classic Italian feel to it, complete with marble countertops, checkered tablecloths, and even a wood-burning oven. You can tell it was built with love and care.

The menu is extensive, featuring all sorts of classic pizzas as well as creative specials like the Garden Plant Pizza and the Mediterranean Delight. I was able to sample them both—the artichoke hearts and eggplant on the Garden Plant Pizza were amazing!

When it comes to the pizza itself, Mancini’s is definitely at the top of its game. The dough is perfectly thin and crispy without being too dry or tough. The sauce has a nice balance of sweetness and acidity that pairs perfectly with the cheese blend. The ingredients are always fresh and flavorful, making for an unforgettable experience every time you visit.

Overall, I can confidently say that Mancini’s has some of the best pizza in Bay Ridge – if not all of Brooklyn! It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a great slice (or several!).

#3 Gino’s

First, let’s start with the atmosphere. The moment I entered Gino’s I was taken aback by how homey and inviting it felt. There was an old jukebox playing classic rock music in the corner and the walls were adorned with various memorabilia from Brooklyn over the years. The staff were incredibly friendly which really made me feel at home.

Now for the pizza! Oh my word! Gino’s has truly mastered their craft. The crust is cooked until it’s a perfect golden brown and it has that perfect combination of both crunchy and chewy textures. And as if that wasn’t enough, they top it off with a mountain of fresh mozzarella cheese, just enough tomato sauce to bring out the flavors in the other toppings, and whatever your heart desires when building your own masterpiece.

All in all, Gino’s is easily one of the best pizza places I’ve ever visited and I highly recommend their incredible pies to anyone looking for a great slice in Bay Ridge. Pizza lovers rejoice!

#4 Peppino’s

The atmosphere was lively and inviting. The waitstaff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their menu – they recommended the classic margherita pizza, which turned out to be an excellent choice! The handmade crust was perfectly thin and crunchy, while the sauce was savory with just the right amount of sweetness. To top it off, the generous helping of fresh mozzarella melted in my mouth.

But it doesn’t stop there; Peppino’s offers a variety of tasty toppings so you can customize your pizza however you’d like. On mine, I added grilled peppers, roasted mushrooms, and sausage for some extra flavor. Needless to say, Peppino’s really knows how to craft a delicious pizza! Plus, their prices are very reasonable so you get great value for your money.

I’m not one for exaggeration but I have to say that this is truly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had – even compared to some top-tier Italian spots around the world! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere had a traditional Italian feel, and the staff were some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met in a restaurant.

When it comes to the pizza, Espresso Pizzeria didn’t disappoint. The crust was perfectly crisp and delicious. The sauce was flavorful and savory just the way I like it. And the toppings were fresh and plentiful!

Overall, I have to say that Espresso Pizzeria is one of my favorite pizza places, and definitely one of the best in Bay Ridge. Whether you’re in town for a visit or you live here full-time, make sure you check out Espresso Pizzeria — you won’t be disappointed!

From the moment I walked in, I could tell there was something special about this place. The inviting atmosphere and mouth-watering aroma of pizza were enough to make me stay for some slices!

The pizzas at Campania had an unmistakable flavor, a combination of the perfect dough, tantalizing toppings and just the right amount of cheese. So much so that I couldn’t help but take a few slices back with me for later.

And the service was great too; my server was friendly and attentive, never letting my glass run dry. On top of all that, the prices were extremely reasonable!

The people at Elegante Pizzeria take their pizza very seriously. You can tell by the care they put into each and every pie that they make. Their crust is perfectly thin and crisp, yet still soft in the center, with just a hint of char that gives the perfect flavor.

Their toppings are also top-notch; they use only the freshest ingredients to really bring out the best flavor! Whether you’re craving something traditional like pepperoni or mushrooms, or something more adventurous like jalapenos or prosciutto, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for here.

But what really makes Elegante Pizzeria stand out is their sauce. It’s smooth and velvety with a slight kick that really ties everything together. Plus, it pairs beautifully with all of their delicious toppings!

The atmosphere in Bella Roma is what really sets this place apart. It’s like being transported to Italy, complete with checkered tablecloths, candles and Italian music playing in the background.

But let’s get to the important part: their pizza! Every pizza I tried was cooked to perfection – the crust was thin and crispy, and the sauce and cheese were carefully balanced. Every bite was bursting with flavor! The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their menu, so ask them for recommendations if you’re feeling overwhelmed by all of the amazing options.

I might just have to make Bella Roma my new home away from home! The best pizza in Bay Ridge? No doubt about it!

#9 Annabelle’s Pastaria

I’ve traveled to Italy and tasted the most masterful pies, but none of them compared to the cheesy goodness of Annabelle’s. The pizzas here are baked with a perfect blend of crispy crust and fresh tomato sauce that explodes in your mouth.

Topped off with a generous helping of cheese and whatever other toppings you desire, Annabelle’s Pizzas come out hot, juicy and delicious every time. Plus, the staff here are super friendly and attentive. You really can’t ask for more!

My favorite pizza on their menu is the “Annabelle Special”, which is topped off with sausage, pepperoni, olives and mushrooms. Just one bite and I knew that I found my new go-to pizza place in Bay Ridge!

#10 Bay Ridge Pizza

As soon as I walked in, I was met with a delicious aroma that made my mouth water. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere had a cozy vibe.

When it came time to order, I went for their signature slice — it’s a classic New York-style pizza topped with fresh mozzarella cheese, spicy pepperoni slices, and homemade marinara sauce. It lived up to the hype! The dough was cooked perfectly and not soggy or undercooked. The toppings were top notch as well; the pepperoni was flavorful and spicy, adding an extra kick of flavor to an already delicious pizza.

#11 Vesuvio Restaurant & Pizzeria

From the moment I walked into Vesuvio, I knew I was in for a treat. The restaurant had a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The aroma of the pizza wafting through the air only added to the overwhelming sense of joy I felt.

The pizzas were truly something special. They were cooked to perfection with delicious toppings that melted in my mouth. Every bite was an explosion of flavor and texture. The crust was light and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just like it should be!

I also had the chance to sample some of their pasta dishes, which were equally as amazing. All of the dishes were flavorful and well-balanced, making them even more enjoyable to eat.

What really sets Vesuvio apart from other pizza restaurants is their service. Not only do they provide excellent food, but they also have incredibly friendly staff who are always willing to go above and beyond what’s necessary to ensure every guest is satisfied.
