And while my journey led me to a few disastrous slices, I also encountered some real gems. But don’t just take my word for it – let’s dig into all the delicious details together! #1 Park Pizza Co

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made me feel right at home. And, oh my goodness, the food was absolutely delicious. The hand-tossed crust was perfectly cooked so it had a nice crunch on the outside while still remaining soft and chewy on the inside. The sauce was flavorful and definitely not too sweet or too spicy, just right. I could taste a hint of herbs in the sauce that really took it up a notch. And of course, you can’t forget about the cheese! The mozzarella was heavenly – it melted in my mouth with every bite!

I’m telling you, they really know how to make pizza here! Everything from the crust to the toppings was expertly prepared and full of flavor. If you’re looking for good pizza in Charleston South Carolina, Park Pizza Co is definitely your best bet!

#2 D’Allesandro’s Pizza

I was skeptical at first, since Charleston isn’t exactly known for its pizza- however, my doubts were quickly put to rest the minute I walked in the door. The interior decoration was very inviting, and the delicious smell of freshly baked pizza filled the air.

The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable – they answered all of my questions about their pizza, from the type of dough used to why they chose to use specific cheeses.

When it came time to tasting it, I knew that I had made a great decision. The thin crust was crispy on the outside with a soft center and just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Every bite was packed with flavor, making it hard to stop eating!

Needless to say, I give D’Allesandro’s Pizza two enthusiastic thumbs up! If you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Charleston South Carolina, this is definitely a place you won’t want to miss out on!

#3 EVO Pizzeria

The restaurant has a great vibe, and I love the fact that they serve alcohol – perfect for pairing with pizza. Even better, there are some vegetarian options available, as well as delicious desserts to top off the meal. It’s a great tourist spot and definitely worth checking out.

Unfortunately, EVO Pizzeria doesn’t offer delivery – you have to eat in house if you want your order. But trust me, it’s worth it! The ingredients are fresh and the dough is light and chewy – simply amazing! I recommend the Margherita pizza; it’s flavorful and absolutely delicious.

From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was family. The décor was unlike anything I’ve seen before: think a cozy atmosphere with an Italian trattoria feel!

The food itself was mouthwatering! The pizza crust was perfectly cooked and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Most importantly, the ingredients were top-notch and you could taste it in every bite.

The service is what really sets Slice Co. apart from your average pizza joint. Our server was friendly, helpful and attentive without being intrusive – exactly what you want when your stomach is grumbling waiting for that first slice to arrive!

The moment I walked in, the atmosphere was incredible. The restaurant has a modern vibe with a rustic feel. The staff was extremely friendly and inviting, making me feel right at home.

When it came to the pizza itself, the flavors were out of this world! Every bite was bursting with flavor and had just the right amount of crunchiness. Each slice was expertly cooked and had a delightful smoky taste that you don’t often find in most pizzas.

If you’ve ever wondered if you can get an amazing pizza in Charleston South Carolina, then look no further than Crust Wood Fired Pizza. It’s hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten and that’s saying a lot coming from an experienced food critic like myself!

#6 Orlando’s Brick Oven Pizza

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place meant business. The aroma of freshly baked pizza was intoxicating and that’s when I knew I was in for a treat.

The options were spectacular! They had something for everyone — whether it be a kid’s menu, vegetarian options, or something to satisfy my sweet tooth. And if you’re like me and need a cold one to go with your slice of cheesy perfection, Orlando’s has got you covered too!

One caveat: they don’t offer delivery service, so unless you want to take a trip through the cobblestone streets of Charleston, be sure to have yourself some comfortable shoes. Either that, or meet up with some friends at Orlando’s Brick Oven Pizza where the atmosphere is not only inviting but also tourist-friendly – just what you’d expect from one of the best spots in town!

It has a great crust, with a crunchy chewiness that will make your mouth water. The sauces and toppings are always fresh and flavorful. I also love their unique selection of gourmet pies; my favorite is the Big Apple, with its generous helping of pepperoni, sausage, peppers and onions.

The service at Sabatinos Authentic New York City Pizza is excellent. The waitstaff is always friendly and attentive. And they really know their stuff when it comes to pizza! I always appreciate the recommendations they provide on the best pies to order.

I cannot say enough good things about Sabatinos Authentic New York City Pizza! Hands down, this place serves up some of the best pizza in Charleston South Carolina!

#8 MOD Pizza

The service is always friendly and the team at MOD Pizza is excellent in making sure that your order is exactly how you want it. When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and asked what type of toppings I preferred on my pizza. After selecting my favorites, the expert pizza makers got to work.

The experience at MOD Pizza only gets better as you watch your pizza being made from scratch right in front of you using only the freshest ingredients – yum! The ovens are blazing hot, ensuring that your pizza comes out with a perfect golden-brown crust. As soon as my pizza was done baking, the staff presented it to me on a bright red plate and set it down on my table with an enthusiastic “Enjoy!”

After taking a few bites of the deliciousness that came out of their kitchen, I can honestly say that MOD Pizza makes some of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. And they make sure to provide plenty of options so everyone can find something they enjoy! From classic Margherita to more exciting options like Hawaiian BBQ or Mediterranean Veggie, there’s something for every palate here.

For those who consider themselves pizza connoisseurs (like myself) MOD Pizza is definitely worth visiting – hands down one of the best places for pizza in Charleston South Carolina!

When I first walked into Zombie Bob’s, I was a bit taken aback by the decor. It was unlike any other pizza restaurant I had ever seen before – the walls were painted with a zombie-inspired mural and there were even zombie figurines in the corners of the room! But all of this novelty quickly gave way to my main reason for visiting – the pizza.

I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and flavorful everything was. The thin-crust Neapolitan style pie is their signature dish and it really hit the spot. My favorite topping combination is pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and olives – which they make wonderfully! But if you’re feeling adventurous, they also serve creations like the “Zombie Blaster” (a mix of four cheeses and five different kinds of meats that looks like something straight out of a horror movie).

The service at Zombie Bob’s was top-notch too. Everyone from the hostess to our server made us feel right at home during our visit. All in all, it was one of my favorite pizza experiences ever! The first thing that stands out about this place is the atmosphere. It’s a cozy and inviting restaurant, perfect for friends or family gathering to enjoy some delicious pizza. The decor is laid-back with a rustic vibe and there’s even a small outdoor patio for al fresco dining.

When it comes to the food, PizzaVola Express does not disappoint. There are all sorts of different pies to choose from including thin crust, deep dish, and gluten-free options. I ordered their signature slice which had a thin crispy crust topped with fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, and mushrooms. The sauce was tangy yet flavorful – it definitely didn’t skimp on quality ingredients!

#11 Pizzeria Di Giovanni

The first thing that caught my eye was the authentic Italian atmosphere. From the second you walk in, you feel like you are transported to Italy. From the Italian décor to the servers dressed in traditional Italian attire, it’s clear that this restaurant means business when it comes to pizza!

The menu is packed full of classic Italian pizzas, as well as creative specialties crafted by their master cooks. No matter what kind of pizza you’re in the mood for, they are sure to have something that tickles your taste buds!

I personally recommend their signature “Carne” pizza. It is perfectly crispy with a generous helping of delicious toppings including pepperoni, sausage, onions, and peppers. The combination of flavors will make your mouth water with delight!

The service here is top notch as well. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive making sure all your needs are taken care of. They also know a lot about their food so don’t be afraid to ask questions to find out more about each dish they offer!
