#1 Song’ E Napule
- Has some vegetarian options
- Serves alcohol (and hard liquor!)
- Offers dessert
- Nice tourist spot
I absolutely loved the decor, with sandstone and brick walls and a fire burning in the corner of the room. It set a great atmosphere for the night, and we had a fantastic time.
The pizza was – as expected! – outstanding! The crust was thin and perfectly cooked, with just enough chew so it wasn’t crunchy. The cheese was gooey but not greasy, and had that perfect balance of salty, milky flavor. And the toppings were fresh and flavorful without overwhelming the dish. In short, it was some of the best pizza I’ve ever tasted!
And if you’re looking for a special treat (which I highly recommend!), don’t miss out on their Nutella calzone! The dough was soft yet firm – like a warm hug from your favorite Italian grandmother! – and filled with pockets of melty chocolate hazelnut sauce that held it all together. Delicious!
So if you’re looking for some truly amazing pizza in Greenwich Village, Song’ E Napule is where you should go! You won’t be disappointed in either their food or their atmosphere!

From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this isn’t your typical pizza joint. The vibe is warm and welcoming, with posters of classic flicks on the walls and a lot of laughter coming from all around.
The menu has something to offer everyone; whether they’re looking for vegan options or classic New York slices. I had the Sicilian slice and thought it was one of the best pies I’ve had anywhere – the dough was light and airy but still retained a nice crispness, and the toppings were plentiful and full of flavor.
I also tried their delightfully spicy wings which complemented my pizza perfectly. On top of all that, the prices are super reasonable, especially if you take advantage of their daily deals!

The menu at SIMÒ Pizza IS anything but ordinary. They specialize in unique specialty pie creations, such as their signature Fig & Prosciutto Pizza or their mouthwatering Buffalo Chicken Pie. But don’t get too carried away and overlook their classic pizzas like The Margherita or Pepperoni. You won’t regret it!

When it came to the pizza itself, boy… I don’t even know where to begin! Their signature Neapolitan-style pizza was out of this world delicious! I started my meal with the garlic bread, which was cooked to perfection. The golden brown exterior of the bread and the robust garlic flavor made it truly scrumptious!
The pizza was equally as delicious. The sauce had just the right amount of sweet and savory and was incredibly flavorful. The cheesy topping had plenty of flavor, and I got a nice kick from the spices used in their recipe. Furthermore, each bite was filled with gooey mozzarella cheese that melted in my mouth like butter.
The service here at Zazzy’s Pizza is also top-notch. The pizzas here are truly something to behold. They have a wide selection of toppings for every palette, from classics like pepperoni and sausage to more unusual fare like pineapple and jalapenos. My personal favorite was the house special: a blend of cheese, bacon, banana peppers, and garlic butter topped off with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. It’s so flavorful that it made me forget all my worldly worries!
For dessert, I sampled the Italian cream cake which was simply divine! It was served on edible plates made out of dough shaped into different animal figures – an absolute delight!
