I absolutely loved the thin crust pizza. It had just the right amount of crunch and was cooked to perfection. To top it off, there was an abundance of melty cheese and flavorful sauce with just a hint of spice. I savored every bite!

The atmosphere is great too; you can sit outside on the patio and enjoy the sunset while munching on your slice. Or if you’re looking for a more intimate setting, they also have inside seating which makes it perfect for date nights.

I’d highly recommend trying out Itala Pizza’s delicious pies; I know I will be going back soon! It stands alone as the best pizza in Johns Creek, hands down.

#2 Vincenza’s Pizzeria

I knew I was in for a special treat when I stepped inside; the cozy atmosphere and inviting decor made me feel right at home. But it was the pizza that really blew me away.

The first thing that stood out to me was the atmosphere. The restaurant is warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly. From the outside, you can tell this is a really special place.

When I sampled the pizza here, I was really impressed. The crust had a nice, crispy texture that was both chewy and savory. The sauce had just the right amount of acidity, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful.

I have to say that the crust was perfect – crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sauce had a little bit of spice but wasn’t overpowering. And talk about the toppings – they were fresh and flavorful, with just enough cheese to bring it all together.

Of course, I can’t forget about the service! Everyone at Angelo’s was super friendly and accommodating to my specific requests for pizza-making ingredients.

#6 Verra Zanno Pizzeria

I’ve been to Italy, tried the best in France, and checked out some of the biggest pizza hotspots in America. But when I tasted Verra Zanno’s exquisite selection of pizzas, I was convinced that this pizzeria tops them all!

From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew I was in for a special experience. The warm atmosphere and friendly staff really put me at ease. My waitress quickly led me to my table and patiently waited for my order.

I opted for their classic Margherita—which came with hearty tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, and the most flavorful basil. It was simply divine! Not too greasy but full of flavor. The crust was perfectly crunchy on the outside yet delightfully soft on the inside. It also had a nice char which gave it a nice smoky flavor.

I also got a side of garlic knots which were freshly baked and served with an incredible marinara sauce. All in all, this place is a must-visit if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Johns Creek! I highly recommend it to any foodie looking to try something extraordinary!

#7 Mellow Mushroom John’s Creek

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the unique decor. Mellow Mushroom has a rustic, yet modern vibe that is truly unique. The walls are decorated with funky art and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

The menu was quite impressive, offering a wide range of pizzas for every taste. From classic cheese pizzas to more adventurous options such as the ‘Holy Shiitake’ pizza – there’s something for everyone!

I decided to go with the ‘Mighty Meaty’ pizza and it did not disappoint! The crust was perfect, with just the right amount of crunch and chewiness. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, including pepperoni, sausage, bacon, ham, and beef. It really packed a punch!

For dessert I had their freshly baked Chocolate Chip Cookie Pizza – it was delicious! The combination of sweet chocolate chips with a crispy cookie base was divine!

I was beyond impressed with the quality of the dough and cheese that really stood out and made their pies stand out. The atmosphere at Double’s Pizza was also something to brag about. From the welcoming staff to the fun and lively atmosphere of the restaurant itself, I felt right at home as soon as I stepped inside.

As for their customer service – it does not get any better than this! They certainly deserve an A+ for their friendly attitude and willingness to customize any order.

I can say without hesitation that this is the best pizza I’ve had since I started my journey tasting pies around the world. The crust was perfectly charred and sandwiched between a light and fluffy interior, while the sauce was tart and sweet. To put it simply, you can’t go wrong with fresh Mozzarella and top-notch ingredients sourced from local growers.

The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, with plenty of tables for families or large groups. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful in guiding us through their menu, which had so many delicious options to choose from! Plus, there are several vegetarian options for those who might need them.
