My stomach has taken me all over the world in pursuit of tasty slices, so I consider myself somewhat of a pizza connoisseur. Well-seasoned crust, flavorful sauces and perfect melt-in-your mouth cheese are my criteria for a great pizza.

Recently I embarked on a mission to discover the best pizza in Katy TX. After trying 11 different pizza places, I’m now ready to share which pies made it to the top of my list!

#1 Crust Pizza Co.

First off, their pizzas are a cut above the rest. Unlike other pizza places in Katy, you can really taste the difference in quality here. Every pizza is made from scratch with fresh vegetables and gourmet meats. Plus, they don’t skimp on the cheese! And there’s plenty of topping options too – my favorite being their sweet peppers and bacon combo.

The atmosphere at Crust Pizza Co. was fantastic. The restaurant is cozy and inviting and they have this great outdoor patio that overlooks a park. And speaking of parks, if you’re feeling adventurous you can take your pizza to-go for a picnic in one of the Katy parks!

But what really separates Crust Pizza Co from the competition is their commitment to service. I had the pleasure of being served by one of their waiters who really went the extra mile to make sure I enjoyed my meal – from refilling drinks to offering suggestions to recommending delicious desserts.

Overall, my experience at Crust Pizza Co was top notch and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for some truly delicious pizza in Katy TX!

#2 Godfather’s Pizza

To start, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of choices they had. From classic flavors to unique creations, they offer something for everyone’s tastebuds. And the portions are generous – sure to fill even the hungriest of appetites.

But what really sets it apart is their ingredients. They use fresh, high-quality ingredients in all their dishes. So you know each bite will be enjoyable and flavorful. Their crust is also cooked to perfection, and has that ‘taste-of-home’ flavor that you treasure so much.

The atmosphere at Godfather’s Pizza is perfect for a night out with family and friends too! The staff are friendly and accommodating and provide a warm welcome every time you visit. Not to mention the wide variety of games and activities available inside ensures everyone has a great time while waiting for their orders!

In conclusion, Godfather’s Pizza serves some of the best pizza in Katy TX – if you haven’t tasted it yet… now is your chance!

#3 Rosa’s Pizza

The atmosphere was inviting with a lively, colorful décor that made me feel right at home. As soon as I took my first bite of their signature pizza – the Margherita – I was in pizza heaven! The crust was thin and had just the right amount of crunch, the tomato sauce was sweet, and the cheese was perfectly gooey and melted in my mouth.

I also had their popular pepperoni slice which also blew me away. The pepperoni had a great flavor and wasn’t overly salty or greasy as I’ve had from other establishments.

Overall, Rosa’s Pizza offers one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted. They understand how to balance flavors, use quality ingredients, and present it all in an inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended!

#4 Pizza Bella

The atmosphere was inviting and the staff was friendly. As soon as I stepped in, I knew this place was worth my attention. The pizza crust was just the right amount of crispy, yet chewy. The sauce was perfectly balanced with a hint of sweetness, and thick chunks of toppings made each bite an absolute delight.

The most impressive part about my visit to Pizza Bella is the number of specialty pizzas they offered. Everything from classic Italian style to unique creations that combined ingredients from all over the world were available! This diversity allowed me to try some truly incredible combinations and flavors I had never tasted before!

I cannot recommend Pizza Bella enough. Whether you’re a local looking for a reliable pizza joint or a world traveller searching for the best pizza in Katy TX – Pizza Bella should be your first choice!

#5 1000 Degrees Pizza Salad Wings

The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, upbeat and friendly, with plenty of seating to accommodate all sizes of groups. The staff are always friendly and ready to help you decide what kind of pizza to order.

As for their delicious pizza? Well, their pizzas have a nice thin crust that’s cooked just right, giving it a crunchy exterior with a slightly chewy interior. The toppings are flavorful and the sauce is delicious! Plus, they have so many different varieties of pizzas to choose from – something for everyone! They even offer salads, wings and sides to complement your meal.

I’ve definitely found my favorite place for pizza in Katy TX – 1000 Degrees Pizza Salad Wings! I can’t say enough good things about this place and I highly recommend you give it a try if you’re ever in the area. Best pizza in town… hands down!

#6 Palios Pizza

The atmosphere was cozy, the waitstaff friendly and attentive, and the pizza was divine. The crust was crispy yet light, the sauce flavorful and generous, and the cheese – oh, the cheese – was heavenly!

I must admit I had my doubts when I heard about Palios Pizza. It’s definitely not your typical pizza joint. The menu is full of surprises like Prosciutto, Mozzarella Fresca & Arugula Pizza. But that’s what makes it so special!

I can honestly say that this little slice of heaven won me over. With its unique toppings and amazing flavors, Palios Pizza has now become my go-to spot in Katy TX for a great night out with friends or family. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in town!

#7 Star Pizza

The restaurant itself is quaint, with a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful and the service was great.

I ordered the “Grandma Pie” which I must say was simply delicious. The dough melted in my mouth, and the combination of cheese, sauce, and tomatoes were to die for. It’s one of those pizzas I could eat every day.

The other pizza I tried was the “Pepperoni Pizza”. The pepperoni was cooked just right – it wasn’t too greasy or too spicy! In addition to the pepperoni, there were onions and mushrooms on top, making it a delicious combination of flavors.

No matter what type of pizza you’re looking for, Star Pizza has something for everyone. They offer an expansive menu with several specialty pizzas as well as classic ones.

It might be small but Star Pizza packs a powerful punch when it comes to scrumptious pizza. If you’re ever in Katy TX and looking for some truly amazing pizza then definitely check out Star Pizza – you won’t be disappointed!

#8 Big Z’s Pizza House & Brew

I arrived at Big Z’s Pizza House & Brew and was immediately struck by the great atmosphere. The restaurant had a cozy, inviting vibe to it, with an open kitchen and wood-fired oven that added to the ambiance.

When it came to the pizza, I wasn’t disappointed. They offer a unique selection of specialty pizzas like their award-winning The Supremo—a blend of mozzarella, gorgonzola, fontina cheeses, sweet Italian sausage, and pepperoni in red sauce—that I’d never tasted before. It was so good that it could give any other pizza a run for its money!

The crust was thin but still had a great chewiness to it which I really appreciated. The cheese melted perfectly over the toppings without being too greasy or heavy. I also liked how the flavors all worked together in harmony instead of competing against each other like some pizzas can do.

Overall, Big Z’s Pizza House & Brew is my new favorite spot for pizza in Katy TX!

#9 Pepperoni’s

As soon as I walked through the front door, I knew I was in for a treat. The inside of the restaurant had a classic Italian vibe, complete with wood-fired ovens in plain view. After perusing the menu, I decided to try their classic pepperoni pizza and couldn’t have been more pleased with my choice.

The dough was light and fluffy, the sauce flavorful and not too sweet, and the pepperoni had just the right amount of seasoning. Best yet, it all melted together into one delicious bite! Furthermore, what impressed me most was that Pepperoni’s managed to pack so much flavor into this pizza without overloading it with toppings. It was simply a masterpiece!

All in all, Pepperoni’s has earned its spot as one of the top pizza joints in Katy TX. If you haven’t tried them out yet, then what are you waiting for? Trust me – you won’t be disappointed!

#10 Pizza Fino – Old katy town

The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was warmly greeted by the friendly staff and fully taken aback by the rich and inviting atmosphere. The decor was modern yet cozy, making me feel right at home.

The menu boasted a variety of delicious pizzas made with all-natural ingredients, including gluten-free options. We decided to try their signature Fino pizza which was bursting with flavor from black olives, red onions, roasted bell peppers, feta cheese and a special blend of herbs and spices. One bite in and my taste buds were doing somersaults!

On top of their impressive selection of pizzas, Pizza Fino also offers an extensive choice of sides including garlic breadsticks, salads and wings. Their secret recipe for wings is truly next level; they are crispy on the outside yet incredibly juicy inside – pure heaven!

I can honestly say that I have never tasted such delicious pizza in my life – Pizza Fino comes highly recommended if you’re looking for the best pizza in Katy TX!

#11 Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

I’ve been seeking out the best pizza since I started my career as a food critic, but nothing prepared me for the level of deliciousness inside this restaurant. From the moment I stepped foot in the door, I knew I had found something special.

The atmosphere was cozy but vibrant, with the perfect blend of traditional Italian style and modern touches. And then there was the menu! Oh man, where to begin? More than 30 specialty pizzas were on offer, and they were all absolutely mouthwatering. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, and it was clear that Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom puts a lot of effort into making sure their customers get quality food each time they visit.

But what really put this eatery above the rest was the taste! Every bite of pizza had a unique flavor that perfectly blend all the components together in harmony. Every single slice was cooked to perfection – just enough crunch on top with a fluffy yet chewy crust below! Simply heavenly!
