#1 Toscanella Village Cafe

The crust is light and airy, yet still maintains a crispiness that holds up against all the toppings. The sauce is outstanding—sweet, tangy, and full of flavor. The cheese just melts in your mouth and the toppings are fresh and incredibly flavorful.

Plus, their servers know just how to make you feel welcome. From the moment you walk in, they make sure you are taken care of with friendly smiles, helpful suggestions, and courteous service.

The atmosphere at Toscanella Village Cafe is also top notch. The restaurant has an inviting old-school Italian vibe that transports you to a pizzeria in Naples or Rome. You almost forget that you’re in Middletown NJ!

If there’s one complaint I have about Toscanella Village Cafe it’s that the food takes too long to come out of the kitchen. But hey, it’s pizza worth waiting for so I guess I can forgive them on this one!

All things considered, Toscanella Village Cafe has some of the best pizza around if not THE best pizza in Middletown NJ.

The moment I stepped in the door, I was hit with the sweet smell of baking pizza. With a knowledge of top-notch pizzerias, I was immediately impressed with the quality of ingredients. The cheese was rich and creamy, and the sauce had just the right amount of zip to it. The crust was golden brown and cooked just right – crispy on the outside and soft inside.

The menu has all kinds of options to suit every taste – from classic New York styles to unique house specials. Of course, I had to try a few slices before deciding what my favorite is. After sampling several pies, my conclusion is that nothing beats Julio’s “Meat Prime” pizza! This pizza is loaded with sausage, pepperoni and bacon, plus lots of melted cheese – it’s absolutely delicious!

I had the pleasure of trying a few of their signature pies, and I can honestly say they were top-notch. The quality ingredients used in the cheese and toppings were also extremely fresh – I could definitely taste the difference!

But what really sets Zoni’s apart is their commitment to authentic Italian flavors. Every bite tasted like it was imported straight from Italy! The savory Italian herbs, perfectly spiced meats, and fresh vegetables all combined in a delicious symphony of flavor.

I’ve never seen such a variety of ingredients, seasonings and sauces used to make pizza. The crust has just the right amount of char and crunch to it, making every bite a delightfully flavorful experience.

But what really sets Naples Pizzeria apart from other pizza restaurants is their use of fresh ingredients. No frozen veggies or processed meats here – just quality, local produce and meats straight from the butcher’s counter! Plus, you can tell that each pizza is made with skill and attention to detail – always cooked to perfection in their brick ovens.

The service is great too – always friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere makes me feel like I’m in Italy rather than New Jersey.

#5 Villa Pizza & Restaurant

My first impression of the place was fantastic. From the welcoming atmosphere to the friendly staff, I could tell right away this was a great place to be. Not to mention, it’s a great tourist spot – giving you an authentic Italian experience.

I was also pleased with their variety – they had something for everyone! Whether you’re looking for vegan options, or just regular old pepperoni, Villa Pizza & Restaurant has got you covered. They even have a kid’s menu which is always nice when out with family!

My only complaint here is that they don’t deliver – so if you’re feeling lazy, there’s no way around having to get up and visit the restaurant in person!

Overall, I’d recommend Villa Pizza & Restaurant to anyone seeking out some of the best pizza in Middletown NJ!

#6 Roma Pizza

The atmosphere is inviting and reminded me of the pizza places I’d find in Italy. The waitstaff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu items.

When it comes to the food, Roma Pizza did not disappoint. Their crust was crunchy on the outside, yet light and fluffy inside – the perfect balance of texture. The marinara sauce is full of flavor and perfectly pairs with all of their delicious toppings. We tried several different combinations like sausage and pepperoni, as well as a unique blend of artichoke hearts, red onions, garlic, spinach, black olives and feta cheese. Every slice we had was amazing! Also their garlic knots were to die for – seriously delicious!

Overall I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for the best pizza in Middletown NJ! Roma Pizza definitely deserves 5 stars because their food is some of the best I’ve ever tasted!

#7 Gianni’s Pizzeria Red Bank

It’s no secret that pizza is one of my favorite foods, and I had heard great things about Gianni’s before I visited. But, even with all the hype, I was not prepared for just how delicious the pizza here would be!

When I arrived at Gianni’s, I expected to find a traditional Italian pizzeria. But what awaited me was something entirely different. The restaurant has a bright and modern atmosphere, with white walls and bold colored artwork adorning the room.

The menu options were vast, but ultimately my choice landed on the Margherita pizza. When it arrived at the table, my mouth instantly drooled at its sight. From the lightly charred crust to the fresh basil leaves atop of bubbling mozzarella cheese – this pizza was truly something special! The flavors exploded in my mouth as soon as I took a bite: sweet tomato sauce blended perfectly with creamy cheese and a hint of garlic from the homemade doughy crust. It really was some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten!

In conclusion, Gianni’s Pizzeria Red Bank is absolutely worth exploring if you’re looking for exceptional pizza in Middletown NJ. Just make sure to bring your appetite – because after one taste of their pies you won’t want to leave until you’ve finished every last crumb!

#8 Luigi’s Famous Pizza And Catering

The first thing that struck me when walking into Luigi’s was the inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly, kind, and clearly passionate about the food they serve. Every inch of the restaurant was neat and tidy – this was one place I wasn’t afraid to put my napkin on the table without second-thinking it!

I knew I had come to the right place when I saw the wide selection of pizzas they had to offer – from classic pepperoni and cheese, to more adventurous flavors, like jalapeno popper! There were so many mouthwatering options that I almost wished I hadn’t been alone!

And then came time for what mattered most – the taste. Suffice it to say, the pizza didn’t disappoint! The crust was just crispy enough, but still soft and delicious. The toppings were flavorful and perfectly cooked – all with an unmistakable homemade feel. It was truly a delicious experience all around!

In short, Luigi’s Famous Pizza And Catering is definitely worth checking out if you’re in Middletown NJ and looking for some great pizza. For me, it certainly lived up to its reputation as one of the best places for pizza around!

The pizzas themselves were certainly top-notch. The dough was light and fluffy, with a perfectly golden brown crust. The sauce was well balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness and acidity. And the toppings were fresh and flavorful–I especially enjoyed their speciality pepperoni pizza!

I also appreciate that Amici Pizzeria takes food allergies seriously. They offer a gluten-free menu and have a dedicated gluten-free oven so that everyone can enjoy their delicious pies.

Overall, I can confidently recommend Amici Pizzeria for anyone looking for the best pizza in Middletown NJ!

#11 The Brothers Restaurant

This place has it all: flavorful, hand-tossed dough, cheesy goodness, and all the toppings you could ever want. Plus – this is even better – they serve alcohol and hard liquor! Now that’s an unbeatable combo.

For families with kids, The Brothers also offers a great kid’s menu. And if you can’t get enough of their delicious pizza following your meal, they also offer dessert so you can sweeten the deal.

The only downside to my experience here was that they don’t offer delivery. But hey, sometimes you have to make the trek to get the best pizza in town!
