I’m certainly no expert on regional styles, but we can all agree on one thing: pizza should be tasty. With that in mind, I’m excited to share my favorites from my recent Montgomery County tour with a humorous, lighthearted approach.

#1 M & N’s Pizza

The atmosphere upon entering the restaurant was warm and inviting. The staff was very welcoming and eager to answer any questions I had.

The menu boasts a wide selection of wood-fired pizzas, from classic Margherita to more gourmet offerings such as Prosciutto & Arugula. All of the ingredients tasted fresh and flavorful.

I went for their signature pizza, the M&N Special, which consists of pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. It was delicious! The crust had just the right amount of chewiness and the toppings were cooked perfectly to create a combination that’s truly out of this world.

Overall, I had an amazing experience at M & N’s Pizza! Every single bite was full of flavor and it’s definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had – hands down the best pizza in Montgomery County MD.

#2 Ema Rossi Pizzeria

I was admittedly skeptical at first. It seemed too good to be true that I could find such an amazing pizza spot in Montgomery County MD. But- wow! Am I glad I gave it a shot!

First off, the atmosphere was vibrant and fun. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made it even easier for me to relax and enjoy every bite of deliciousness that came my way.

Speaking of deliciousness, what really stood out to me at Ema Rossi Pizzeria was their selection of pizzas. They have all kinds of options available, from classic cheese pies to custom creations topped with your favorite ingredients. Every single pizza I tried was cooked to perfection – the crust had just the right amount of crunch without being too soggy or burnt, and the cheese melted beautifully. It’s no surprise why this place is so popular with the locals!

All in all, Ema Rossi Pizzeria has got to be one of my new favorite places for pizza in Montgomery County MD! If you haven’t given it a try yet, you should definitely do so now – you won’t regret it!

#3 Laurienzo Brick Oven Cafe

When I first walked into the restaurant, I was definitely impressed with the atmosphere. It has a great sports-bar feel and it was a great place to watch some games while eating delicious pizza. Plus they offer alcohol, so that’s always a plus!

As for the food, I was really amazed with the quality of their pizza. The balanced mix of flavor and texture never failed to impress me. And when it comes to vegetarian options, they also provide some delicious alternatives that are sure to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. Plus there’s a kid’s menu too!

To top off your meal, Laurienzo Brick Oven Cafe offers an extensive dessert menu full of all sorts of sweets. From classic favorites like ice cream to more exotic treats like gelato. It’s impossible not to find something you’ll love!

The only downside is that they don’t offer delivery, but if you’re looking for the best pizza in Montgomery County MD then Laurienzo Brick Oven Cafe will not let you down!

#4 Mamma Lena Pizza

They have a vast selection of delicious pizzas, including their specialty pies which are some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. The ingredients they use are fresh and flavorful, and each pizza I’ve tried has been cooked to perfection with a just-right crispness.

One of my favorite things about Mamma Lena Pizza is the atmosphere. The restaurant itself is cozy and inviting, but filled with such life! There’s always laughter in the air, giant TVs playing the game, mouthwatering smells coming from the kitchen—it’s an experience like no other!

As for service, it’s top notch! Everyone who works there is as friendly as can be, offering helpful recommendations and advice on what to order. They take great care in ensuring that you get exactly what you’re looking for in a pizza experience.

To sum up my visit to Mamma Lena Pizza: if you’re curious about what kind of pizza Montgomery County MD has to offer, go no further than Mamma Lena Pizza. I guarantee it will be a pizza-filled evening worth remembering!

#5 Frankly…Pizza!

The atmosphere and service alone in this place make it worth the visit. I’m sure you’d be pleasantly surprised! Not only do they serve alcohol, but they have some great vegetarian options. And to top it off, they offer dessert too!

My favorite part of Frankly…Pizza! was definitely the pizza itself. The crust is thin and crispy, and the toppings are layered on generously. It’s one of those places that keep me coming back for more!

Now here’s the downside – no delivery! But if you can get past that, you’re in for a real treat. So if you’re looking for a great spot to grab a bite in Montgomery County MD, I highly recommend Frankly…Pizza! You won’t regret it!

#6 Julliano’s Brick Oven Pizza

When I walked in, I felt like I was in a cozy Italian kitchen. The place smelled delicious! The red-checkered tablecloth and the Italian music playing in the background gave it a homey feel.

The pizza crust was perfectly thin and crispy, with just enough char from the wood-fired oven that it almost melted in your mouth. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, from classic mozzarella and pepperoni to unique combinations like artichoke hearts and feta cheese. The flavors blended together beautifully – definitely a great mix for any pizza lover!

But what really made this place special was the friendly staff. They were clearly passionate about their food, always eager to talk about the ingredients or suggest interesting combinations. Not only did they make me feel right at home, but they also provided excellent customer service throughout my experience at Julliano’s Brick Oven Pizza.

#7 Gregorio’s Trattoria

From the moment I walked in, I could tell that this place was serious about making a great product. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, even when I asked them a million and one questions about the ingredients they use in their pizzas!

The Napoli-style pizza was my favorite – it had a wonderful balance of delicious cheese, spicy sausage, herbs and peppers that blended perfectly together for an amazing flavor. The crust was light and crisp – not too thick or chewy.

For dessert, we had to try the tiramisu. It was heavenly! The creamy blend of espresso and liquors really brought out the best flavors in the sponge cake layers.

Overall, Gregorio’s Trattoria provides a great atmosphere, excellent service and some of the best pizza in Montgomery County MD! I’ll definitely be back here again soon!

#8 Angelo’s Pizza Pasta and Deli

The atmosphere at Angelo’s is warm and inviting, and their staff is incredibly friendly. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I belonged.

Now onto the pizza – it was nothing short of amazing! The dough was freshly made every day, and each slice had the perfect balance of flavor. The crust had just the right amount of crunch, too!

As for toppings, they had all the classics – pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, peppers and more – plus some unique options like artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes and roasted garlic. Everything was cooked to perfection, which only added to the overall deliciousness of the pizzas.

In addition to pizza, Angelo’s serves up fresh pasta dishes with homemade sauces. They also have an impressive selection of Italian deli items like salami and prosciutto that made for great accompaniments to my meal.

All in all, I’d give Angelo’s Pizza Pasta and Deli five stars! If you’re looking for a great slice of pizza in Montgomery County MD, this is definitely your spot!

#9 CS New York Pizza

The first thing I noticed walking into CS New York Pizza was its unique vibe. The restaurant had a cozy, family-oriented atmosphere that put me at ease right away. After being served by the friendly staff, I was ready to dig in!

I ordered the classic pepperoni pizza and wow, it lived up to all of my expectations. It had a perfectly seasoned sauce and just the right amount of cheese. The dough was cooked to perfection, with a golden crust that was both crispy and chewy.

The toppings were fresh and plentiful, with generous amounts of flavorful pepperoni. I also appreciated that they used high quality ingredients like extra virgin olive oil – even though you can’t really taste it on the pizza itself, it does make for an overall richer flavour profile.

I’m not just saying that because it’s the local favorite – I’m saying it because their pizza is truly some of the best I’ve ever had. The toppings are always fresh, tasty and plentiful, and the dough is crunchy without being burnt.

The staff is also incredibly friendly and welcoming, so it’s easy to see why this place has become a hot spot for locals. The dining room is bright and inviting, with plenty of seating and music playing in the background.

#11 Pizzeria Da Marco

My experience at the pizzeria was top notch. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with a warm smile from the staff. They seemed genuinely excited to have me as the evening’s guest.

I decided to go for their traditional margherita pizza and I’m glad I did. The perfect balance between mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil made this pizza unique and delicious. But what really sets Pizzeria Da Marco apart is their use of fresh ingredients that are locally sourced. It was evident in every bite.

The atmosphere is something special too- a great mix of modern and classic decor that creates a cozy yet upscale feel. Music plays on low while you enjoy your meal, adding to the ambience without being overbearing or intrusive.

Overall, my experience at Pizzeria Da Marco was exceptional. From start to finish, everything was flawless – making it my top pick for the best pizza in Montgomery County MD!
