I mean, I’ve tried pizza everywhere—from Rome to France to the United States. And even though the pizza in Slc is far from perfect, Villaggio has totally changed my mind.

Firstly, their crusts are not too thick or too thin; they’re just right! The balance between crunch and chewiness is spot on. And their sauce? Oh my goodness, it’s delicious. It’s like they managed to take the best aspects of all of the pizzas I’ve tasted and distill them into one masterpiece.

The cheese isn’t too greasy and is always melted evenly over the pizza, giving you an unbeatable flavor with every bite. As I perused the menu, my eyes widened at the variety of toppings and combinations available. From classic margherita to adventurous prosciutto and arugula, Settebello knows how to push the boundaries of pizza perfection. Being a creature of habit, I opted for the margherita with a twist – fresh basil *and* basil-infused olive oil. Who knew a leafy herb could make such a difference?

And then there’s the crust. Oh, the crust! It was thin, but not too thin, with just the right amount of chewiness. It supported the weight of the toppings without getting soggy, a delicate balance that few pizzerias can master.

In the middle of my pizza-induced euphoria, I noticed a group of chefs dancing around a wood-fired oven like pizza ninjas, flipping dough and orchestrating toppings with grace and precision. It was like a scene from a pizza ballet, and I couldn’t help but applaud (and drool).

To top it all off, the atmosphere at Settebello was lively and fun. The dim lighting and chatter of fellow pizza enthusiasts created the perfect backdrop for my culinary adventure.
