The atmosphere was cozy and the staff was friendly. They even served alcohol so I could enjoy a cold beer with my pizza – that’s something you don’t find too often at a pizzeria.
For those of us who want a break from all the classic pepperoni, there were some great vegetarian options as well. And for dessert, they had an excellent selection of pies, cakes, and other treats.
The only downside I experienced at Woodbine was that they don’t offer delivery service. But considering how good the pizza is, it’s worth making the trip for take-out.

#3 Pizza Twist – Salt Lake City, UT

I first heard about Pizza Twist from a friend who was visiting from out of town, and I just had to try it out for myself. When I arrived, the restaurant was bustling with people, which is always a good sign when it comes to food!
The staff were friendly and welcoming, which put me at ease as I browsed the menu. After much deliberation (there were so many delicious options!), I settled on a classic pepperoni pizza with extra cheese. Let me tell you, that was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten! The crust was light and fluffy, and got even more crunchy around the edges – perfect for some cheese pulling action. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the rich flavor of the cheese and toppings.
To top it all off, their desserts are also worth trying out too – they have an amazing selection of freshly-baked cookies and ice cream sundaes!
All in all, if you’re looking for some truly delicious pizza in Slc, Pizza Twist is definitely worth checking out. In my opinion, it’s the best pizza joint in town!
#4 Villaggio Pizzeria
- Nice tourist spot
I mean, I’ve tried pizza everywhere—from Rome to France to the United States. And even though the pizza in Slc is far from perfect, Villaggio has totally changed my mind.
Firstly, their crusts are not too thick or too thin; they’re just right! The balance between crunch and chewiness is spot on. And their sauce? Oh my goodness, it’s delicious. It’s like they managed to take the best aspects of all of the pizzas I’ve tasted and distill them into one masterpiece.
The cheese isn’t too greasy and is always melted evenly over the pizza, giving you an unbeatable flavor with every bite. What makes Villaggio a cut above the rest though is that they always have fresh toppings available, so you can create your own pizza masterpiece with whatever mix of flavors you want.
Overall, if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Slc, look no further than Villaggio Pizzeria. The experience was truly life-changing!

I visited Bricks Corner on a Friday night, and it was bustling! Not only was there a great selection of pizza, but they also had a full bar with hard liquor options. And if you’re looking for vegetarian choices, they had that too. As if that wasn’t enough, the sports were playing on big screen TVs throughout the restaurant which made for a great atmosphere for catching a game and enjoying some pizza.
The food at Bricks Corner exceeded all expectations! I ordered one of their specialty pies and it did not disappoint. The crust was thin and crunchy yet still light, the cheese was just cheesy enough, and the toppings pleased my taste buds filet mignon style. It didn’t take me long to devour it – it felt like I barely had time to take pictures before it was gone!
That said, Bricks Corner doesn’t offer delivery which is the only downside I can think of when recommending this place as one of the best places to get pizza in SLC. #11 Stoneground Italian Kitchen

- Nice tourist spot
Their pizzas are cooked in an authentic, brick oven that was imported directly from Italy. The pizza has this amazing smoky flavor to it that you can only get from an authentic Italian oven.
The toppings are fresh and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. My favorite topping is their roasted red pepper and artichoke pizza which really hit the spot.
The atmosphere of Stoneground Italian Kitchen is also worth talking about. The lighting is low, giving off a cozy vibe, and the music playing throughout the restaurant adds to its charm. The staff here is friendly and helpful, so you won’t have any trouble when ordering your meal or asking for extra napkins.
