#1 Pazzo Pizzeria
The minute I stepped in here, I knew I was in for something special. The place had a great atmosphere, with rustic wooden floors and brick walls that gave it a cozy feel. The highlight of the restaurant, though, was definitely the pizza.
I ordered a classic pepperoni pizza, and it was about as good as it gets. The crust was crunchy on the outside but with just the right amount of chewiness on the inside. The sauce was deliciously seasoned and had a pleasing balance of sweet and savory. The cheese was expertly melted, creating an amazing stretchy texture. And finally, the pepperoni itself had perfect flavor—just enough spice to make it interesting without overpowering other flavors.
The best part is that they offer unique topping combinations like pineapple & jalapeño or mushrooms & truffle oil which you won’t find at any other pizzeria in West LA!
All in all, Pazzo Pizzeria serves some of the best pie around town if you’re looking for that perfect Italian-style pizza experience—it’s not to be missed!

No other pizza joint has been able to capture the perfect balance of crunchy yet fluffy crust and just the right amount of ooey-gooey cheese. Plus, their selection of toppings is both creative and generous. As if that’s not enough, their staff is also super friendly and helpful!
Still, what really seals The Coop Pizza as the best in West LA is its unmatchable atmosphere. It’s a fun place to hang out with friends, watch sports or listen to good music while you eat amazing pizza. I’ve been here many times and never had anything but a great time – it feels like home.

I’m a tough critic, so let me tell you all the things I loved about this place. The crust was cooked to perfection – it had just the right ratio of crunchy and chewy. Plus, it was sprinkled with a hint of garlic for a little extra flavor. And the cheese melted in my mouth like heaven!
The toppings were also top-notch – from pepperoni to mushrooms, everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Plus, I got to try their signature sauce that made every bite even more delicious.
The atmosphere was great too; there were vibrant colors everywhere and plenty of seats – plus an incredible view of the city. It felt like home away from home!

#5 Pomodoro Trattoria
- Offers dessert
- Serves alcohol
- Has some vegetarian options
When I first arrived at Pomodoro, I was instantly taken with the atmosphere. The restaurant had a cozy, yet chic vibe and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
The pizza itself? It’s out of this world! They source their ingredients locally and make their own dough which they bake to perfection in their wood-fired oven. The pizzas feature unique toppings that you won’t find anywhere else, like truffle béchamel or portobello mushrooms (my personal favorite!).
To top it all off, the prices are completely reasonable – especially compared to some of the fancier places downtown. If you’re looking for great pizza without breaking the bank, look no further than Pomodoro Trattoria. Trust me – you won’t be disappointed!
#6 Pizzana Brentwood
- Nice tourist spot
- Has some vegetarian options
- Offers dessert
- Serves alcohol
I first tried the Funghi pizza – white sauce, mushrooms, and truffles. The crust was perfectly cooked, lightly crunchy outside and doughy inside. I couldn’t believe how tasty the combination of flavors was!
Next I sampled the ‘Za Margherita – tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella. This one was even better than the Funghi pizza! The flavors were so vibrant and the cheese just melted in my mouth!
The third pizza I tried was a classic Pepperoni. Again, the crust was perfect – not too thin, not too thick. And it had that great wood-fired flavor that can only come from a brick oven. The pepperoni was super flavorful and definitely hit the spot.
In conclusion, Pizzana Brentwood takes top honors for having some of the best pizza in West LA! If you’re looking for a delicious meal that won’t break your wallet, this is definitely where you should go!

My initial impression of the restaurant was that it was a bit rough around the edges, but I soon realized that this only added to its authenticity. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their pizza, which made them such a pleasure to work with.
I ordered one of their signature pies, the ‘Doughroom Special’ and it didn’t disappoint. What’s more, even if you don’t care for the usual flavors, they have over 15 specialty pizzas to choose from!

I’ve tasted some pretty incredible pizza in my time, from New York-style slices to wood-fired Neapolitan pies, but I was still impressed by the quality of Lenzini’s pizzas. Every slice was perfectly cooked with a nice char on the bottom and a crisp crust. The sauce was flavorful and not overly sweet—just enough to complement the cheese and toppings. And speaking of toppings, they definitely don’t scrimp here! Whether you’re looking for veggies, pepperoni, or sausage they have plenty to choose from.
What really stood out at Lenzinin’s Pizza was their unique selection of specialty pizzas. If you can dream it up, odds are they can make it! They have options ranging from pesto and artichoke to bacon mac ‘n’ cheese. Plus their invention of the garlic knot pizza is genius in itself—garlic knots on top of a cheesy pizza!
