The restaurant itself is quite small (which adds to the charm), but they can accommodate a large group if need be. The pizza is really the star of the show here, and they offer some great options. A few of my favorites were their pesto, smoked salmon and Thai-style pizzas. I was also happy to hear that they had some vegetarian options as well for those looking for non-meat choices.

Now to the crust – it’s absolutely perfect! Soft and chewy on the outside, yet still slightly crispy on the inside. Delicious! The sauce was amazing too – just enough flavor without being overpowering.

As if that wasn’t enough, Cafe Rio Pizza even offers dessert pizzas for those with a sweet tooth! You could get anything from chocolate and banana to lemon meringue with almonds – all wonderful!

The only downside to eating at Cafe Rio Pizza is that it doesn’t offer delivery services. But trust me, after eating there once you’ll want to go back again and again! So don’t let that stop you from trying out this gem of a pizza place in Ruidoso – you won’t be disappointed by what you find!
